Stephanie partners with physician and healthcare leaders who want to lead with greater clarity, courage, and authenticity in complex healthcare environments.
With more than 25 years of experience as a physician, educator, and healthcare system leader, Stephanie understands the realities of leading in medicine—from the pressures of patient care to the challenges of navigating complex organizations and guiding teams through uncertainty and change. Throughout her career, in both academic and community-based health systems, she has mentored and advised physicians at every stage of professional development.
Stephanie’s coaching work creates a space that allows physician leaders to pause, reflect, and think more expansively about how they lead. Her purpose is to help leaders reconnect with their values, deepen their self-awareness, and lead with greater intentionality—so that their leadership reflects not only what the system demands, but also what matters most to them.
Her coaching approach is grounded in a collaborative and inquiry-driven process that supports leaders in discovering their own insights and taking purposeful action. Stephanie creates a trusted and confidential partnership where curiosity, honest reflection, and thoughtful challenge help leaders expand their leadership capacity.
Stephanie’s work is shaped by her training as a facilitator with the Center for Courage & Renewal, where she learned practices that support leaders in reconnecting with purpose, values, and inner clarity during times of challenge and transition. She also holds certification as a Registered Corporate Coach (RCC) ™ with World Association of Business Coaches™, bringing structured leadership coaching frameworks that support accountability, strategic thinking, and sustainable growth.
Stephanie splits her time between Richmond, Virginia and the mountains of Western North Carolina with her husband, Christian. She is a proud mom of three daughters, and a mini golden doodle. She has been recognized by Working Mother magazine with the Working Mother of the Year Award and enjoys hiking across Appalachia and the desert Southwest, especially along the Colorado River.
