Program Overview: Two Levels of Certification

A structured, experiential learning journey designed to build real coaching capability—not just awareness.

Level 1: Faculty-as-Coach (FAC)
Build foundational coaching skills and apply them in real student interactions.

Level 2: Certified Faculty-as-Coach (CFAC)
Deepen mastery through applied coaching practice, feedback, and evaluation.

Faculty-as-Coach: Program Structure

Level 1 (30 Hours Total)

  • Interactive virtual training sessions
  • Coaching circles (peer practice)
  • Pre-work and applied learning
  • Final reflection and integration

Emphasis on practice, feedback, and real-world application—not just theory 

Level 2 (Certification – 45 Hours Total)

  • Applied coaching with real students
  • Mentor coaching and feedback
  • Recorded session review
  • Demonstrated coaching competency
