Barbara Ohm is an executive coach working with leaders from a variety of functions at all levels, especially Healthcare leaders. As a coach, her approach is direct and supportive, creating a safe, honest and reflective environment where clients can learn about themselves, their thought patterns and emotionalreactions and how they impact their performance and relationships. Barbara uses structured tools and curiosity-based questions to generate conversations thatevoke personal exploration. As a facilitator of leadership development courses,Barbara focuses on experiential learning to help people grow and develop their skills and leans on her professional experience to explain content using real life Stories.

Barbara has over 25 years’ experience as a healthcare executive leading hospitals, medical groups, and corporate quality, human resources and planning functions in both academic and integrated healthcare delivery systems, includingIntermountain Healthcare – Utah and Presbyterian Healthcare Services – NewMexico. As a leader, she focused on connecting people and ideas to achieveexcellent results, including financial turnarounds, culture change, service linegrowth, and developing high performing teams and leaders.

Barbara has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Master of Business Administration in Human Resource Management, and she is a retired Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. She completed her coaching certification at Intermountain Healthcare with Invite Change, and is certified as a Brain Health Analytics® practitioner.

Barbara lives with her husband in Taos, New Mexico and enjoys riding her Icelandic horses, hiking, exploring the backcountry, and singing.
