Dörte has been an invaluable part of our journey for many years, first as a graduate of our Leadership Fellowship, then as a champion of our leadership programs at Moffitt Cancer Center, then as a master coach with HLI. This history gives her a great head start on our exclusive methodology and processes.

Her experience as a leader, educator and coach in healthcare has prepared her to make a lasting impact on our team and clients, and we are looking forward to her contributions.

Dr. Dörte Heimbeck Bio

Dörte Heimbeck, PhD, brings 25 years of experience as a consulting psychologist, senior leadership advisor, and executive coach to her clients. From her leadership experience, primarily in healthcare, she has developed a deep, practical understanding of human behavior and organizational dynamics in large and complex organizations.

Dr. Heimbeck has found her professional calling in helping clients become impactful leaders, connect deeply to the meaning and purpose of their profession, and thrive in their professional and personal lives.

She is an International Coaching Federation (ICF) certified professional coach (PCC) and fellow at the Institute of Coaching at McLean Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and provides executive coaching and leadership development to leaders in healthcare and beyond.

Prior to Joining CTI/HLI, she served as Associate Chief Wellness Officer for Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida where she led the organizational efforts to improve professional wellbeing through an operational emphasis on meaningful and essential work, a culture that promotes wellbeing and through tailored resiliency support programs.

Dr. Heimbeck received her training in Germany (MS in Psychology with a minor in Medicine from the University of Giessen) and The Netherlands (PhD in Industrial & Organizational Psychology from the University of Amsterdam).
