Sara Pelaez, PhD, is a dually credentialed leader in the fields of clinical psychotherapy and executive leadership coaching, specializing in Neuro-Executive Architecture. Her approach bridges the gap between biological resilience and organizational strategy, specifically designed to optimize performance in high-stakes environments. Sara holds a PhD in Somatic Psychotherapy from the International University of Professional Studies (IUPS), where she conducted supportive research titled, “Unleashing the Power of Somatic Experiencing: A Pathway to Resilience and Growth for Practitioners.”
As a Board Certified Coach (BCC) with a Coach Certification from NBCC, she delivers proven tools to empower C-Suite executives and Physician Leaders to enhance organizational culture and develop precision in motivational thinking and embodied change. Her background as a Licensed Clinical Therapist (licensed in Florida, Georgia, and Illinois) allows her to address the “internal architecture” of a leader, moving beyond traditional cognitive coaching into deep physiological regulation.
Sara earned her MA in Clinical Behavioral Mental Health from Roosevelt University and her BA in Psychology & Human Resources from Northeastern Illinois University. She is an active member of the National Board for Certified Counselors (CCMHC, NCC), the American Counseling Association, and the American Career Counseling Association. A member of the Chi Sigma Iota International Honor Society, Sara also holds certifications in Leadership, Executive, and Life Coaching.
