HLI & California Hospital Association Session
Last week HLI CEO Mo Kasti and Senior Facilitator Wes Avants led the Thinking Uncommonly in an Environment of Constraints for the California Hospital Association Leadership Academy.
We collectively explored how leaders can apply innovation, creativity, and experimentation to solve problems and accelerate improvement efforts for their organizations. Our aim was to expand the range of innovation tools and approaches that they can bring to their work as high level clinician leaders.
We specifically focused on how to think uncommonly to address Nursing shortage in rural hospitals and designed experiments to run to improve retention and recruitment of nursing.
Congratulations to the California Leaders for thinking innovatively even with constraints. Thank you to CHA for their partnership and continuing to place priority of leadership and development!
